What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser and receives back with each visit. Browser storage (local and session storage) is similar, but only the page itself reads it — it is never sent to us on its own.

The cookies we set

turbotechAuthTokens keeps you signed in. It holds your session and is removed when you sign out. It lasts until you close the browser, or for up to 30 days if you ticked “Keep me signed in for 30 days” when signing in.

NEXT_LOCALE remembers the language you chose.

Browser storage

Your theme choice (light or dark) is kept in local storage. Work in progress, such as a form you have not sent yet, is kept in session storage and disappears when you close the tab.

Controlling them

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. If you block turbotechAuthTokens you will not be able to stay signed in.
